Louis A. Yorey serves as Managing Director and National Real Estate Practice Leader for Trenwith's Valuation Group.

Prior to joining Trenwith, Mr. Yorey was responsible for the management of the National Real Estate Valuation Group and business development for Marshall & Stevens. Valuation engagements included fresh start accounting for bankruptcy, FAS 141 and 142 engagements, valuations for litigation, estates, partial interest, and financing. Valuation and consulting assignments have included investment grade properties in the local, national and international markets for numerous Fortune 1000 companies.

Prior to his association with Marshall & Stevens, Mr. Yorey served as National Director at Huron Consulting Group, where he was responsible for the development and co-management of the Tangible Asset Practice consisting of real estate and machinery and equipment. Valuation engagements included fresh start accounting for bankruptcy, FAS 141 and 142 engagements, and valuations for litigation and financing. His international experience included valuations of industrial and manufacturing assets for purchase price allocations throughout Western Europe, Central America and Canada.

As a Senior Manager at Standard & Poors, Mr. Yorey developed and managed the New York Real Estate Valuation and Consulting Practice. In addition, he possesses over 15 years of experience in the valuation of machinery and equipment, specializing in the industrial and manufacturing arenas. He is experienced as an expert witness and has provided litigation support and testimony for ad valorem and civil cases.

Mr. Yorey holds the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute, the ASA designation from the American Society of Appraisers and is a Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, (MRICS). Mr. Yorey is also licensed to appraise in multiple states. Mr. Yorey received an MS in Real Estate Valuation & Analysis from NY University (New York, NY). Additionally, he earned a BS in Urban Studies from Montclair State College (Upper Montclair, NJ).
