Matthew B. Brandt
Mr. Brandt serves as Managing Director for Trenwith Group in China. Mr. Brandt successfully orchestrated the establishment of the Firm's Wholly Owned Foreign Enterprise ("WOFE") in Beijing, China, where Mr. Brandt serves as General Manager and Board Director.
Mr. Brandt has nearly two decades of successful executive and operational experience. He has outstanding cross-cultural communication and relationship management skills; his strong international background encompasses work experience and contacts worldwide, including the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Korea, Japan, China, India, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand and the Philippines.
Since 1990, Mr. Brandt has assisted multiple Chinese owned companies in the process of successfully globalizing and penetrating Western markets in order to dramatically increase revenues and corresponding profitability. Specifically, he helped them to develop key strategic alliances to grow and strengthen their businesses, create new and expanded distribution channels, manage and improve sales and marketing efforts, maximize product quality and brand awareness, and negotiate technology transfers and joint ventures.
Mr. Brandt was most recently President and Chief Executive Officer of EcoQuest Taiwan, Inc., a company licensed by its US parent, EcoQuest Inc., one of the "Inc. 500 Fastest Growing Companies in America" which boasts the 17th largest sales force in the United States. Mr. Brandt successfully developed and executed a strategic business plan, secured key distribution rights throughout Asia, built and sold the company.
Mr. Brandt holds the Karrass Advanced Negotiation Certification. He studied Business Administration and Computer Science at Maharishi International University, and completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP) at University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business, and is a Wharton School of Business Fellow and Wharton School Alumnus.
