Associate
Trenwith Valuation, LLC provides clients with top-quality, defensible valuations of business enterprises, equity, debt and derivative securities and intangible assets for a wide variety of objectives, from merger and acquisition activity and strategic consulting to issuing comprehensive reports to support taxation issues and litigation. We work with business owners, attorneys, lenders and other advisors to address a full range of business requirements. Our Valuation professionals have a wide range of skills and experience and include Chartered Financial Analysts, Accredited Senior Members of the American Society of Appraisers, and Certified Public Accountants.
Responsibilities include execution and delivery of complex valuation engagements- participating in all facets of projects from proposal preparation to presentation/defense of final analyses.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing company, industry and economic research.
- Analyzing financial statements including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flows.
- Constructing detailed financial models.
- Assessing operational profitability and financial condition.
- Analyzing business and strategic plans.
- Developing cash flow forecasts.
- Interacting with clients to obtain project information.
- Navigating public company databases.
- Performing benchmark analyses.
- Writing narrative reports to support analyses.
- Ensuring quality control over work product.
Requisite Qualifications
- 2-3 years business valuation experience.
- B.S. in Finance/Accounting/Economics required, M.S./MBA preferred.
- Strong spreadsheet and computer skills including MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
- Entrepreneurial and independent work habits.
- Superior written and oral communication skills.
- Accreditations desired but not required include ASA, CFA, and/or CPA designation (or senior candidate).
