Analyst
We are currently seeking an Analyst for our multidimensional business valuation practice. Responsibilities include execution and delivery of challenging valuation engagements - participating in all aspects of the projects from market and proposal preparation to presentation/defense of the final analyses.
Our valuation professionals have a wide range of skills and experience and include Chartered Financial Analysts, Certified Public Accountants, and Appraisers with designations from a number of professional organizations, including the American Society of Appraisers and American Institute of CPAs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing company, industry and economic research
- Analyzing financial statements
- Constructing financial models
- Assessing operational profitability and financial condition
- Developing and reviewing cash flow forecasts
- Navigating public company databases and filings
- Performing benchmark analysis
- Documenting work product in an organized manner
- Writing narrative reports to support valuation analyses
- Preparing exhibits to illustrate complex issues
- Ensuring quality control over work product
Requisite Qualifications:
- 2-5 years valuation experience
- Attained or in the process of attaining valuation credentials
- B.S./MBA in Accounting/Finance
- Strong spreadsheet and computer skills
- Ability to organize and access large volumes of data
- Strong analytical skills
- Superior writing and oral communications
- Ability to multitask and work in a team environment
- Exposure to litigation based assignments, including divorce
