Job Description

Vice President/Director will report to Managing Director and Head of Asia Investment Banking.

He/She will be a critical member of the Trenwith Asia investment banking team. This is a NY based position where he/she will be directly responsible for all aspect for leading and executing transactions from mandate win, due diligence, negotiating with investors/company as well as third party coordination with attorneys/accountants/consultants through to final close.

Ideal candidate will demonstrate top execution skills in range of transactions, notably private placements, PIPEs, and mergers and acquisitions.

The candidate will work closely with the senior management in NY as well as the business development/coverage officers in China. He/She must also demonstrate in-depth knowledge of various product groups as well as global financial markets. He/She must possess extraordinary communication skills and as well as a deep understanding of the cultural and business environments of the Asia Pacific Region.

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • 5 to 8 years investment banking/corporate finance
  • Experience working with/in Financial Sponsors Group, or similar roles in capital raising functions is strongly preferred
  • Strong track record in leading transactions / closings|
  • Prior experience in working with Asian clients
  • Strong communication skills
  • Business proficiency in Mandarin, Chinese
  • Leadership quality with hands-on and analytical aptitude
  • Self-confidence combined with a well-balanced personality to withstand the pressures of client service and to sort priorities in the course of managing resources and personal productivity
  • Candidates should be able to flourish in an entrepreneurial environment

Compensation


Compensation is negotiable, depending on experience, and includes an attractive benefits and bonus package.
