Vice President (Investment Banking)
Because of the modest size of our deal teams, Trenwith requires Vice Presidents who are not only experienced at executing deals but who are also willing and able to market the firm and originate new business. Trenwith relies on our Vice Presidents as the day-to-day leaders during transactions and as vital support for our Managing Directors during the origination process. Trenwith from time to time will recruit experienced professionals who are able to take a leadership role while still working within a team construct.
Professional Qualifications
- At least five years of investment banking experience
- MBA (Solid academic record from a top school)
Essential Skills and Knowledge
- Mastery of theoretical and applied banking expertise; excellent analytical abilities
- Excellent verbal, communications, negotiation skills
Personal Characteristics
- Strong business development and relationship development skills and interest
- Persuasive oral presentation and writing skills
- Entrepreneurial working style, with unusual initiative and self motivation, to work independently and as a member of a team of similarly energized professionals
- Superb analytical and diagnostic capability in a business environment
- Self-confidence combined with a well-balanced personality to withstand the pressures of client service, and to sort priorities in the course of managing resources and personal productivity
